Established in 1953, the Institute of Soil Science, CAS, is a visionary academic institute in China, committed to preparing innovative, proactive professionals in soil sciences to address the critical challenges of the country and our times.

We’re ranked as one of the top China institutes in soil sciences.

The Institute of Soil Science, CAS, has its campus in Nanjing and five observation and research stations throughout the China. Students can choose from seven graduate programs, with five research departments for graduate study.
