Seminar venue

On March 21, 2025, Prof. Inna Solyanikova, a distinguished scholar from Belgorod National Research University and researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms, Russian Academy of Sciences, visited ISSCAS.

The academic seminar, chaired by Prof. Wu Yonghong, featured a keynote presentation by Prof. Solyanikova titled “Soil bacteria: characteristics and possibility of their application in biotechnologies of environmental purification and in agrotechnologies.” Drawing from her research experiences, Prof. Solyanikova shared advancements by her team in soil microbial studies, emphasizing their potential in environmental remediation and agricultural practices.

Following the presentation, Prof. Solyanikova engaged in lively discussions with faculty and students. Key topics included bacterial dormancy and challenges in microbial application.
